Job Description

Under the direction of the Director of Programs, Strategy and operations, the Senior Product Manager is responsible for developing and launching products and services within the digital health business unit. Monitors marketplace evolution and ensures that relevant and financially viable products are developed. Key business responsibilities include product development and management, market research, financial analysis and implementation of products, tracking performance, reporting market landscape including financial performance, growth, market share changes etc.

Lead the entire product development cycle from inception to launch and rollout. Manage the work of data scientists, user experience engineers and development team to develop and design products to meet the defined outcomes. Conduct assessment on customer requirements, analyze market and competitor trends to identify opportunities and determine product strategy. Act as the product owner and subject matter expert for the Digital Health business unit products around patient care and access software and mobile health engagement solution. Supports product strategy and roadmap by playing an active role in building value driven product features. Provides subject matter expertise on all aspects of assigned products. Provide vendor management and leads contract negotiations for assigned products. Partners with RHM (Regional Health Ministries) and other support staff to ensure successful product development and execution aimed at the desired customer segments, groups, or markets. Performs the work necessary to identify and engage stakeholders and successfully implement strategic initiatives. Define product content, workflow and SLA's to meet client and regulatory / accreditation requirements. Work closely with internal stakeholders of clinical, marketing, compliance and other departments for timely implementation of new platform feature enhancements, continued product support and product innovation. Document and maintain use case requirements from business and consumers, to develop desired product features. Able to adapt to competing demands, take on new responsibilities, and adjust plans to meet changing priorities. Maintain positive, constructive approach to problem solving internally and during customer interactions with focus on timely and accurate issue resolution. Establish and cultivate relationships with potential and existing customers that will generate actionable feedback to improve the software. Define optimal pricing strategies, product offerings and business model for the software to meet market demands. Use expert-level understanding of the mobile health landscape and a passion for mobile health experience to drive end user adoption. Knows, understands, incorporates and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision and Values in behaviors, practices and decisions. Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations, the Trinity Health Integrity and Compliance Program and Code of Conduct, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior.

Must possess an in-depth, advanced knowledge of healthcare and healthcare quality. Degree in Public Health, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration or related experience required. Five (5) or more years of product development experience. Experience in a multi-location health care organization preferred. Knowledge of customer-focused and improvement principles and tools (Six Sigma, Lean, CAP, Workout). Must possess excellence verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, advanced analytical skills, project management skills, be well organized, and maintain a highly professional manner and appearance. Demonstrated ability to operate in a collaborative, shared leadership environment. Must possess excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills in order to initiate and develop productive working partnerships with all levels of management/leadership and staff. Skill needed to effectively facilitate teams/groups of people and influence people through strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills. Ability to influence results, engage key stakeholders and tactfully manage complex relationships within and across the organization. Proficient in common software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). A personal presence which is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals and values of Trinity Health. Must be able to operate effectively in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.


Must be able to adapt to frequently changing work priorities, and be able to prioritize and balance the requirements of working with the System Office and Regional Health Ministries (RHMs). Must be able to travel to various Trinity Health sites as needed.
