This role centers on leading the strategy and delivery of a Databricks based AI and ML platform for scalable, secure, and compliant model experimentation across Consumer and Community Banking. The Product Manager will coordinate cross functional teams to drive governance, observability, and platform migrations while enabling data scientists and engineers with premier tooling for feature engineering and lifecycle management.
Responsibilities
- Articulate a product strategy and vision that delivers meaningful value to customers
- Lead discovery and market research to identify customer solutions and translate them into the product roadmap
- Own and maintain the product backlog in alignment with the strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Define the framework for success metrics and monitor cost, features, risk posture, and platform reliability
- Oversee the migration and integration of Databricks based solutions, map dependencies, mitigate risks, and coordinate with cross functional teams for seamless execution
- Collaborate with data science, engineering, architecture, and compliance teams to embed governance into product design and operations
- Champion observability, monitoring, and operational resilience for AI/ML model experimentation workflows to maintain platform stability
- Engage internal customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and translate needs into actionable enhancements
- Lead vendor evaluation and selection processes related to model experimentation, ensuring alignment with strategy and regulatory requirements
- Communicate product vision, progress, and challenges to senior leadership and critical partners to drive consensus and prioritization
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration across product, engineering, and architecture teams
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management or a closely related domain
- 3+ years guiding product strategy and delivery for a large scale Databricks based AI/ML platform including model experimentation, MLflow, feature engineering, governance, and platform operations
- Advanced understanding of the product development lifecycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end product lifecycle activities from discovery and ideation to strategic development and value management
- Deep expertise in AI/ML platform capabilities such as feature stores, model experimentation, and lifecycle management
- Strong hands on knowledge of Databricks and its ecosystem, with experience in platform migrations and integrations
- Proven track record delivering enterprise grade AI/ML solutions in highly regulated environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams in matrixed organizations, managing dependencies and risks
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and diverse stakeholders
- Strategic thinking with a customer centric mindset, emphasizing scalability, security, and operational excellence
- Experience with observability, monitoring, and governance frameworks for AI/ML workloads
