Raytheon is seeking a Senior Principal Integrated Flight Termination System (IFTS) Product Owner to lead a onsite team in Tucson, AZ. This role coordinates hardware, software, configurable logic, systems, and test equipment to design, test, and deliver IFTS sub-assemblies while actively managing schedule, cost, and risk with stakeholders and suppliers. The position offers a salary range of USD 132,400 to USD 251,600 per year.
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse engineering team and coordinate with suppliers to meet an aggressive delivery timeline.
- Accountable for Technical, Cost, and Schedule Execution.
- Steer the team budget and schedule, partnering with the product team to achieve cost targets and milestone deadlines.
- Track cost and schedule performance using EVMS, oversee estimated-at-complete (EACs), and report business metrics to the PMO and functional leadership.
- Possess the ability to obtain PM Level 7 Certification.
- Collaborate with suppliers and customers to procure and demonstrate capabilities in lab or field environments.
- Assignments may include guiding a team through multiple phases of the hardware lifecycle, such as design and analysis; developing subsystem requirements and test plans; delivering presentations to peers, management, and government customers; and conducting root-cause failure investigations.

- The work environment is primarily office-based but may include laboratories, field work, or a mix of settings.
- Travel may be required at times.
- Coordinate with Functional and Program leadership at higher levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Ten years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Analog, digital, and power electronics design, integration, and production support
- RF product and subassembly design, integration, and production support
- Electro optical product and subassembly design, integration, and production support
- Translating high level requirements into actionable design electronics and subsystem architectures
- Experience in sub-systems, systems engineering, requirement development and/or requirement validation
