Responsibilities
- Bridge gaps in manual processes by mapping current end to end workflows across people, processes and tools; identify handoffs, rework loops, control points and failure points; design future flows that reduce manual touches and improve cycle time, quality and compliance.
- Lead structured discovery to understand how work is done today through stakeholder interviews, shadowing, workflow walkthroughs and artifact reviews; document true operational steps versus assumptions and surface undocumented dependencies.
- Collaborate with Design Teams, Business Partners and Product Owners to shape user experiences, define detailed requirements and deliver new features; ensure designs reflect operational realities, edge cases and opportunities to reduce manual work.
- Establish outcome focused governance by publishing regular KPI readouts and decision logs; align on expected benefits versus realized benefits and transparently call out gaps with corrective actions such as process changes, backlog reprioritization, training, additional automation or controls enhancements.
- Own end to end product lifecycle and day to day execution, guiding discovery through strategic development, detailed requirements, delivery and ongoing value management; manage prioritization and stakeholder communication, including incident triage and cross functional war rooms with Product, Engineering, Operations, Risk/Controls and vendors to drive root cause analysis and timely remediation.
- Assist in planning and managing release schedules and milestones for software releases; ensure smooth transitions in both UAT and production environments.
- Develop and maintain release management processes and documentation; drive adoption and achievement of business objectives through robust change management activities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of applied experience in strategy, product management or transformation initiatives
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Deep understanding of commercial lending products and processes
- Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to support product decisions
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
