Kodiak is looking for a Product Operations Specialist to connect Product and Engineering with Operations and Field teams. This onsite role in Mountain View, CA is designed for someone who can build scalable processes, tighten feedback loops from the field, and keep product performance visible through clear, data-driven communication.
You will help operationalize autonomous vehicle technology by translating operational realities into actionable product and engineering requirements, while also ensuring timely execution and adoption across cross-functional stakeholders.
What you’ll do
- Work closely with Program, Engineering, and Ops to design, document, and stand up processes that enable operational scalability for Kodiak’s autonomous vehicle technology.
- Own the feedback loop between Field Ops and Product & Engineering by translating operational needs into product and engineering requirements.
- Collaborate across teams to test, validate, and deploy new product features in an operationally intensive environment.
- Serve as a liaison across Product, Engineering, Field Operations, and other teams to support alignment and feature adoption.
- Drive attention to detail and timeliness across product deployment and operational workflows.
- Define operational KPIs, monitor product performance in the field, and communicate insights and risks to stakeholders.
- Provide clear, data-driven updates on operational progress, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Operate effectively in spaces that are not yet well defined and subject to rapid, unexpected changes.
What you bring
- 3+ years of experience in Product Operations, Technical Program Management, or a similar role in an operational-intensive technology company.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to use data to improve processes and inform product decisions, such as with Kibana/Elastic.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a track record of driving timely execution in complex environments.
- Strong people and communication skills, with experience partnering across diverse teams including Engineering, Field Operations, and Product.
- Willingness to work full-time onsite at the Mountain View, CA office.
- A non-technical degree is acceptable; technical aptitude (or “nerdiness”) is a plus.
- Adeptness at using generative AI tools to streamline workflows and improve the clarity and quality of stakeholder communication.

Compensation & benefits
$115,000 - $130,000 per year. Kodiak also offers a competitive compensation package including equity and annual bonuses.
