Job Description

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Product Manager-Technical for SCOT Forecasting & Labs to define and drive the long-term vision for forecasting products. This onsite role in Bellevue, WA partners with scientists and engineers to build state-of-the-art deep learning based forecasting systems that optimize Amazon's supply chain at scale. The position offers a salary range of USD 151,200 to 204,600 per year and requires a Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

Define the 3-5 year vision for Forecasting products by starting from customer problems and collaborating with scientists and engineers to bring that vision to life
Lead strategic communications, including decision narratives and investment proposals
Communicate effectively, earn trust, and influence stakeholders across multiple organizations
Identify opportunities proactively by starting from customers in the supply chain and related business units
Experiment with and scale new products and models from prototype to production across global operations
Explore technical solutions and alternatives to understand opportunities, defects, and customer needs

Requirements

5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience
Bachelor's degree
Experience delivering features and evaluating tradeoffs in product development
Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience delivering end-to-end product initiatives
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and product strategy
Experience managing technical products or online services
Experience representing and advocating for diverse customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
