Job Description

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Product Manager-Technical for SCOT Forecasting & Labs to define and drive the long-term vision for forecasting products. This onsite role in Bellevue, WA partners with scientists and engineers to build state-of-the-art deep learning based forecasting systems that optimize Amazon's supply chain at scale. The position offers a salary range of USD 151,200 to 204,600 per year and requires a Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

  • Define the 3-5 year vision for Forecasting products by starting from customer problems and collaborating with scientists and engineers to bring that vision to life
  • Lead strategic communications, including decision narratives and investment proposals
  • Communicate effectively, earn trust, and influence stakeholders across multiple organizations
  • Identify opportunities proactively by starting from customers in the supply chain and related business units
  • Experiment with and scale new products and models from prototype to production across global operations
  • Explore technical solutions and alternatives to understand opportunities, defects, and customer needs

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience delivering features and evaluating tradeoffs in product development
  • Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience delivering end-to-end product initiatives
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and product strategy
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience representing and advocating for diverse customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
