Senior Data Management Professional - Data Product Owner - Futures & Options
Job Description
Bloomberg’s Exchanges & Venues team is hiring a Senior Data Management Professional to own data product outcomes across Futures & Options content. In this role, you will shape data-driven strategies to bring in new content sets, improve the value of existing datasets, and ensure delivery aligns with high-quality, commercial, and client requirements.
Working onsite in New York, NY, you will partner across internal stakeholders, lead data quality initiatives, and coordinate efforts that mobilize teams responsible for customer relationships and technical account support.
What you’ll do
- Define and prioritize data-driven strategies and targets to discover and acquire new datasets, including tracking progress against goals
- Develop relationships with key internal partners and decision-makers to understand priorities and align execution accordingly
- Ensure existing datasets are fit-for-purpose, accessible, and usable to increase the return on investment from content onboarding
- Lead and implement Data Quality initiatives based on evolving business prioritization and commercial conditions
- Run campaigns across Exchange & Venues to mobilize Relationship Managers and Technical Account Managers
- Identify and close gaps in current product offerings, expanding coverage to address emerging client use cases
- Serve as an ambassador for Futures & Options content, representing the Content Acquisition team across the company
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, STEM, or degree-equivalent qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in financial markets, with deep understanding of Futures & Options markets including market structure, current market trends, and the competitive landscape
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across complex functions, geographies, and seniority levels
- Proven ability to translate vision into measurable outcomes and actionable goals for regional teams
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross-regional execution, alignment, and strategic communication
- Strategic mindset with a bias for action, comfortable making decisions with imperfect information in fast-moving markets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Compensation and benefits
The salary range for this role is USD 110,000 to 190,000 per year, plus benefits and bonus, with incentive compensation applicable to exempt roles.
