Support product delivery that makes day-to-day operations better. In this onsite role at Kilmarnock, VA, you will work as a liaison between Operations and IT development teams, helping the Product Owner turn customer needs into clear requirements, well-prioritised work, and timely testing and adoption. You will also contribute to a culture of governance and compliance, ensuring testing delivery aligns with company standards, goals, and SOX auditing requirements.
What you’ll do
- Meet frequently with customers in Operations to understand needs and clarify data and reporting requirements
- Partner with business area owners and stakeholders to identify business rules required for implementation
- Solicit ideas, assess and prioritise product opportunities for both new solutions and optimisation of existing features
- Collaborate with user departments through assistance, script review, and support as needed
- Work with the development team to identify and define solutions that are valuable, usable, and feasible
- Provide direction and guidance to the delivery team for product requirements
- Maintain a deep knowledge of the customer, data, business, and industry, and use it to support effective decision-making
- Keep the business informed on product activities and progress toward goals
- Develop and execute communication plans for partners across the organisation
- Prioritise the Epic, Feature, and Story Backlog and contribute to creating and managing the Product/Team Roadmap
- Demo new functionality to business areas and support adoption through structured UAT activities
- Develop a UAT plan, manage UAT execution, organise meetings, and support training efforts to make UAT effective
- Execute test cases manually to verify actual results match expected outcomes, analyse defects, report them, and follow the defect cycle
- Use DEVOPS (or equivalent) to log and track defects and ensure testing delivery is on time and meets quality standards
How teams will work with you
- Operations teams: gather requirements, map end-to-end processes, and translate business challenges into system enhancements
- Development team: define and prioritise requirements; produce user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria; create test scenarios and support UAT
- External vendors: coordinate with third-party software providers and service partners to investigate and resolve system issues, support implementations, and maintain service performance
- Internal stakeholders: present proposals, business cases, roadmaps, and key concepts to senior leadership; influence decisions using data-driven recommendations and clear communication of benefits, risks, and impacts

Working conditions
The role is based in the office for a minimum of three days per week.
