In this Product Manager role within the Realtime Experience team for Premiere Pro, you will bridge engineering efforts with professional editor workflows to advance video modernization, GPU migration, and on‑device AI within the editing timeline. You will own a 6–9 month roadmap and guide cross‑functional execution to deliver measurable performance improvements for editors.
Responsibilities
- Align engineering priorities with customer outcomes by building hands‑on understanding of video modernization, GPU migration, and on‑device AI initiatives, and tie each achievement to observable workflow improvements for users.
- Own the customer workflows in the Realtime Experience area, regularly engaging professional editors and creators to capture current performance challenges and priorities.
- Create and maintain a 6–9 month roadmap for the product area.
- Develop arguments grounded in customer evidence with clearly defined success metrics.
- Prioritize work as technical realities and user needs evolve.
- Lead cross‑functional execution, coordinating daily across engineering, build, QA, and product marketing to maintain clarity on scope, dependencies, and progress from inception to launch.
- Apply Premiere Pro in real editing scenarios to test workflows, stress GPU‑dependent features, and stay aware of competing tools such as DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, and Final Cut.
Requirements

- Working knowledge of video production and editing workflows, including timelines, rendering, and performance aspects important to creators; a commitment to deepening expertise quickly.
- Technical curiosity and the ability to engage substantively with engineers on architectural tradeoffs, GPU workloads, and platform constraints, without needing to be an engineer yourself.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to produce clear briefs, present prioritization arguments, and explain complex tradeoffs in plain language.
- Proven ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams and influence without formal authority; organized, reliable, and easy to work with.
