Join TikTok USDS JV’s Core Business Data Science team to support product and operations analytics for the TikTok main app. In this onsite role in Los Angeles, you will turn campaign and operational data into measurable recommendations, build and evaluate key metrics, and develop advanced analytical solutions and models to drive business outcomes.
As part of USDS, the team focuses on delivering high-quality, timely analytics solutions for business growth, alongside exploratory analysis and research that help uncover data limitations and guide improvements.
What you’ll do
- Lead campaign and operations analytics to produce data-driven recommendations that inform day-to-day operations and growth
- Perform deep dives into data sources, assess their limitations, and translate complex insights through exploratory analysis and research
- Design and monitor core metrics, support goal setting, and run performance evaluation while identifying root causes behind metric movement
- Design and build advanced analytical solutions and models, including leveraging AI technologies, to improve business outcomes
What you bring
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Math, Economics, Statistics, or another science and engineering field
- Experience with SQL, Python, or R
- Experience working with large data sets using SQL
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to learn autonomously, and highly organized
- Ability to conduct rigorous analysis and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences

Compensation
Base salary range: USD 136,800 to 312,867 per year in the selected city.
- Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
- Base pay is part of the total package and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units.
