Job Description
Inmar seeks a Sr. Product Manager, Platform to lead platform strategy, backend architecture, and AI driven prototyping within its healthcare division, delivering scalable, compliant solutions onsite in Winston-Salem, NC with a salary range of USD 91,364 to 152,274 per year and a minimum of 8 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategic vision for core healthcare platform infrastructure, covering microservices, APIs, backend integrations, and security frameworks.
- Own the product roadmap, backlog priorities, and delivery timelines for backend services, platform reliability, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, HITRUST).
- Collaborate with Platform Engineering to translate ongoing project initiatives into durable, scalable platform solutions.
- Partner with Experimental Product Development to leverage rapid prototyping, iterative design, AI technologies, and innovative methods to boost platform capabilities for healthcare clients.
- Identify opportunities to move experimental prototypes into production while ensuring compliance and scalability.
- Foster a culture of continuous innovation, customer-centric experimentation, and agile iteration.
- Act as a central coordinator across multiple technical teams to maintain vision clarity, alignment, and clear communication throughout the product lifecycle.
- Provide expert guidance on technical trade-offs, platform decisions, regulatory considerations, and data governance.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, Security, and Compliance to enable coordinated execution and fast issue resolution.
- Lead integration of privacy, security, and compliance requirements into product designs, aligning with industry standards and regulatory mandates.
- Support HITRUST readiness activities with internal stakeholders to improve platform trust and compliance.
Requirements
- 8+ years in technical product management roles, ideally in healthcare, enterprise SaaS, or other regulated industries.
- Strong expertise in backend architectures, microservices, API design, cloud platforms (GCP preferred), and data security practices.
- Proven experience managing technical roadmaps and aligning engineering work with strategic business objectives.
- Solid understanding of healthcare regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA, HITRUST, and data privacy/security requirements.
- Experience with agile methodologies, rapid prototyping, user-driven innovation, and integrating AI-driven solutions.
- Exceptional collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with cross-functional influence.
