This role serves as an operations leader within a product line, supporting smooth execution across the product lifecycle and acting as a liaison between suppliers, customers, internal teams, and global product leadership. The focus is on improving operational efficiency across product development, supply chain management, sales, and marketing, with a strong emphasis on forecasting, inventory control, and issue resolution.
Role Overview
In this position, you will help ensure the product line operates effectively and coordinate across the global supply chain from supplier to customer. You will support multiple functions under the product management department, with responsibilities spanning product development, supply chain management, sales, and marketing. You will anticipate operational issues, drive resolutions, and set appropriate expectations with both internal and external stakeholders.
The role administratively reports to a Global Product Manager, with significant functional reporting to corporate Operations leadership.
Responsibilities
- Validate and send purchase orders to US and overseas manufacturers with a strong commitment to accuracy and cost control.
- Ensure the international movement of goods from origin to final delivery at destination, addressing roadblocks that hinder efficient movement.
- Communicate with the global sales force and customer base regarding supply chain checkpoints, identify hiccups, and resolve issues as needed.
- Forecast, plan, and manage global inventory levels at a SKU-warehouse level to meet customer needs and mitigate inventory risks.
- Support sales cycle activities by providing product and supply chain insight to sales reps and customers, coordinating samples, and managing quotes.
- Monitor and optimize cost and pricing by performing regular analysis and providing recommendations to global product managers and outside sales teams.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments regarding order discrepancies, shipment shortages, and other transactional errors.
- Contribute new ideas to the leadership team that support overall company success.
Requirements
- BA/BS required.
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable with forecasting across multiple time horizons and identifying variances in data.
- Experience using public data sources to identify global suppliers and study market trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with suppliers, managers, and intra-company departments.
- High energy, proactive, and highly organized, with the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks on time.

- Willingness to go above and beyond with a “no task too small” approach to making clients happy.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or customer support within wholesale, retail, or manufacturing organizations.
