Job Description

A fast paced Manufacturing Engineer role in a HDD environment, onsite in Hutchinson, KS, focused on product design and manufacturing systems from concept to production release.

Responsibilities

Lead product design from concept through manufacturing release
Create and maintain precise SolidWorks models and manufacturing drawings
Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Develop and maintain process routings
Establish and maintain costing structures
Create and uphold manufacturing standards
Support manufacturing process development and continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with production teams to ensure manufacturability and efficiency
Assist with prototype development, testing, and product refinement
Support engineering change implementation and product updates
Coordinate with purchasing and operations on materials and production requirements
