Job Description

SEOWILL, a brand of CWILL INC, is seeking a Product Manager for an SEO SaaS product used by Shopify brands and DTC merchants. This role is responsible for shaping the product roadmap and delivering end-to-end execution across diagnostics, keyword-driven optimization, AI content generation, GEO, and SEO reporting.

Role Overview

The Product Manager will own SEOWILL’s product roadmap and execution, leading work from discovery through design, engineering, launch, and post-launch review. The position requires strong SEO fundamentals, proven product management experience in SaaS, and the ability to translate technical SEO concepts into merchant-friendly workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Own the product roadmap by prioritizing features, writing clear product specifications, and driving execution across site diagnostics, keyword suggestions, page optimization, AI content generation, and SEO reporting
Lead feature delivery from discovery and design through engineering and launch, including post-launch review
Define product quality for core outputs such as diagnostic scores, optimization suggestions, and AI-generated content
Apply SEO expertise to product decisions spanning keyword strategy, meta optimization, site architecture, crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, and AI content quality
Monitor industry changes related to search algorithm updates, GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), AI search behavior, and the evolving SEO tool landscape
Translate technical concepts into experiences that work for merchants using SEOWILL
Conduct discovery and validation through user interviews and analysis of feedback from Shopify merchants and DTC brand owners
Perform competitive tracking across SEO tools, AI content platforms, and Shopify SEO apps, and produce structured competitive analysis
Turn insights into decisions by converting merchant pain points and market signals into prioritized product work
Own go-to-market building blocks including product packaging, pricing tiers, conversion flows, and new user onboarding
Partner cross-functionally with Sales and CS to improve trial-to-paid conversion and merchant retention

Minimum Requirements

3+ years of product management experience, including 1–2 years focused on SEO tools, SEO SaaS, or content or marketing technology
Deep SEO fundamentals including keyword research, on-page optimization, meta tags, site architecture, crawlability, indexing, and organic traffic growth
Hands-on SEO and analytics tools experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Semrush, Similarweb, or similar tools
B2B SaaS experience with comfort owning the full product lifecycle from discovery to launch
Data skills including SQL basics, Excel and dashboards, and A/B testing
Mandarin Chinese required
Bachelor’s degree

Nice to Have

Shopify ecosystem experience, including Shopify apps, DTC merchants, and independent stores
Background in AI content generation, GEO, or AI-powered SEO tools
Experience designing merchant onboarding or conversion optimization flows
Familiarity with technical SEO such as structured data (schema.org), Google Search API, and sitemap management
Hands-on experience running SEO campaigns, building a website, or operating an online store
