Job Description

Drive People Services Systems product strategy and execution for DaVita’s People Services, partnering across teams to deliver measurable, high-impact improvements.

Responsibilities

Set product vision and strategy for People Services Systems, aligned to business goals and measurable outcomes (OKRs)
Build and maintain a roadmap connecting People Services goals to prioritized work, including what will be done and what won’t be done
Define success metrics, create a measurement plan, and use data + feedback to adjust priorities over time
Partner with Research/Design and People Services to understand user needs, pain points, and root causes (not just feature requests)
Facilitate structured working sessions and design workshops that result in clear decisions, tradeoffs, and action plans
Build trusted relationships across People Services and adjacent partners including IT/Engineering, Finance, Compliance, and Change/Comms
Apply an outside-in approach using industry best practices, product thinking, and user empathy to tackle the biggest problems
Create clarity in ambiguous areas by aligning stakeholders on the why, defining what good looks like, and driving decisions forward
Partner with engineering/IT and delivery leaders to translate validated problems into product requirements, sequencing, and delivery plans
Own backlog prioritization and tradeoffs; keep teams focused on outcomes rather than output volume
Lead launch readiness including enablement, training, job aids, feedback loops, and post-launch measurement
Manage product operating rhythms: quarterly planning, roadmap reviews, progress reporting, and stakeholder updates
Own investment and value conversations for your product area, including benefit sizing, tradeoffs, and sequencing

Requirements

8+ years in product management or closely related product leadership, including substantial experience leading discovery and shipping meaningful product outcomes
Proven ability to partner with business leaders and technical teams to deliver measurable outcomes
Demonstrated strength in problem framing, prioritization, stakeholder management, and communication
Experience facilitating working sessions and design workshops with clear outputs and decisions

What success looks like

People Services leaders consistently say: “This team helps us solve the right problems and gets to outcomes faster.”
HR system improvements reduce friction in critical workflows and improve teammate experience, measured through agreed metrics/OKRs
Roadmap is focused, prioritized, and transparent, and teams can explain what they’re doing and why in plain language

What you’ll bring (qualifications)

Experience with enterprise HR platforms and ecosystems (DaVita context includes platforms like Workday and People Services workflows)
Experience in complex, regulated environments where privacy, risk, and controls matter

Benefits

Comprehensive benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid time off, PTO cash out
Family resources
EAP counseling sessions
Access to Headspace®
Backup child and elder care
Maternity/paternity leave
Professional development programs
On-demand virtual leadership and development courses through DaVita’s online training platform StarLearning

Career growth

Learning and development programs support career transition from clinical and operations to corporate roles

Location: Sun Prairie, WI (onsite)
Salary: USD 115,000 - 183,000 per yearly
Minimum experience: 8 years
