This role owns the product strategy and roadmap for AI-powered merchant intelligence tools supporting Whole Foods Market. You will lead forecasting model migration and data harmonization efforts, while defining requirements for new analytical capabilities and partnering closely with Amazon and WFM teams to build merchant trust and drive adoption.

Core Responsibilities
- Own product strategy and roadmap for AI-powered merchant intelligence tools, including adoption strategy, capability governance, and merchant enablement
- Lead cross-functional execution of forecasting model migration by defining success criteria, orchestrating data readiness, managing cross-team dependencies, and driving go/no-go decisions
- Drive data integration and catalog harmonization across multiple systems and organizations, resolving complex upstream and downstream dependencies
- Define product requirements for new analytical capabilities, including store clustering, category intelligence, and assortment optimization, from problem framing through OP1 commitment
- Earn merchant trust through direct engagement, translating technical capabilities into business value, validating solutions in the field, and building feedback loops that inform the roadmap
- Navigate a complex stakeholder landscape across product, engineering, supply chain, UX, and merchandising organizations spanning both Amazon and Whole Foods Market
What You’ll Do Day to Day
- Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution within a single day
- Translate between technical ML discussions and practical merchant needs
- Partner with teams across Amazon and WFM to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience influencing senior leadership using data-driven insights

Our team builds the tools and platforms that Whole Foods Market category managers use to plan, price, promote, and merchandise products. The portfolio covers assortment planning, pricing optimization, promotions planning, and space and merchandising execution, supported by a shared data foundation and increasingly driven by AI.
The program is at an inflection point, moving from legacy planning systems to intelligent, data-driven capabilities that change how merchants work. You will work in close partnership with Amazon retail, technology, and operations teams, operating in an environment that moves quickly and values PMs who earn trust with both engineers and merchants.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience owning or driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience using generative AI tools to improve workflow efficiency, including willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices
- Ability to identify opportunities where generative AI can enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences
