The Pharma Product Manager at Micro-Tracers, Inc. drives pharmaceutical sales for SECURtracers, oversees GMP and ISO documentation and government submissions, and builds strategic relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers. This on-site role in San Francisco requires an entrepreneurial, self-starting mindset.
Responsibilities
- Generate sales by engaging pharmaceutical manufacturers and related industries.
- Aim to conduct one Virtual Call with a pharma manufacturer each month.
- Target sales growth to materialize within one to two years.
- Operate on-site at 1375 Van Dyke Avenue, San Francisco, CA, with travel anticipated to total 6-8 weeks per year.
- Ideal candidates will have business education and sales/marketing experience; the core requirement is a self-starting, entrepreneurial approach.
- Exempt managerial position with no overtime pay, except as required by law.
- Position may be considered 24/7 in theory, reflecting the responsibilities of business development.
- Strong communicators and writers, proficient with Linked-In and business software.
- Sales focus centers on SECURtracers for on dose coding of oral solid dosage drugs to authenticate and detect counterfeits; ongoing development of variants for pharma product labels is anticipated.
- Marketing or sales directions beyond the use as PCIDs in drugs may be pursued.
- Additional duties to generate business include collaboration with manufacturing, R&D, and quality assurance teams; creating and updating marketing materials, brochures, website content, and databases; producing PowerPoint presentations.
- Maintain detailed records of pharmaceutical manufacturers contacted and support services for marketing materials development.
- Interact with government regulators and prepare regulatory submissions as required.
- Attend trade shows and participate in Virtual Calls; perform other duties as assigned.
