Job Description

Join Best Buy’s Recommendations and Personalization team to shape personalized customer experiences through product strategy, execution, and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

Set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for recommendations and personalized experiences.
Define success metrics and use customer and business data to establish priorities.
Partner with engineering and business teams to deliver ranking, scoring, offers, and cross-channel personalization.
Write clear product requirements, guide backlog planning, and support releases end to end.
Lead testing efforts and use results to improve the product roadmap.
Build reusable personalization capabilities while supporting responsible customer data use and privacy requirements.
Apply AI-enabled tools and workflows to speed up insight generation, prioritization, and team effectiveness.

Requirements

6+ years of product management experience in Agile digital environments.
2+ years of experience with recommendations, personalization, search, ranking, or machine-learning decision systems.
2+ years of experience leading work across engineering, analytics, design, and data science teams.
6+ years of experience setting product strategy, managing roadmaps, and measuring results.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

8+ years of product management experience.
Experience with enterprise-scale recommendation or personalization products.
Experience building shared product capabilities (for example, customer segments or cross-channel decisioning).
Familiarity with ranking, retrieval, experimentation, model hosting, or performance monitoring.
Ability to explain technical topics clearly to senior leaders and business partners.

Location

Remote (remote).
Primarily work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location.
Live within a drivable distance to the corporate campus in Richfield, Minnesota.

Compensation

USD 111,850 - 198,250 per year.
