As a Product Owner, Growth, you will develop and own the systems and product decisions behind βInfinite wedges,β helping Flex meet customers where they are while continuously improving the experience. You will also drive enhancements to financial services and products, partnering with engineering and cross-functional teams to ship with compliance, security, and customer outcomes in mind.
What youβll work on
- Develop and own Flexβs βGrowth engineβ across βInfinite wedgesβ to deliver end-to-end growth.
- Support customer acquisition across many unique paths that align with how business owners prefer to engage.
- Drive improvements to financial offerings, including mobile apps, online account management tools, and virtual payment solutions.
- Continuously improve the user experience and add features that reflect changing customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities within organizational operational processes.
- Build internal financial solutions such as automated reporting tools, data analytics platforms, and workflow optimization systems to increase efficiency and streamline operations.
- Work closely with compliance and legal to ensure products adhere to relevant financial regulations and industry standards.
- Mitigate risks through robust product design and implementation, including safeguards to protect customer data and meet applicable legal requirements.
- Stay current on changes in industry regulations and security protocols.
- Conduct user research and market analysis to understand preferences, pain points, and emerging trends, and translate insights into product decisions.
- Partner with engineering across the development lifecycle.
- Define clear product requirements, prioritize features, and help ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Use data analytics and performance metrics to evaluate product performance, identify improvement areas, and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with customer support to address inquiries, feedback, and product-related issues, with a focus on improving customer satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and communicate product strategy and roadmap, aligning product vision with Flexβs overall objectives.
What you bring
- Ability to run sprints.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner (or similar) at a startup, with a focus on financial products.
- Solid knowledge of credit risk assessment, lending processes, and banking operations (nice to have).
- Familiarity with relevant compliance standards, regulations, and security protocols for credit and banking (nice to have).
- Willingness to become an expert.
- Excellent communication, translation, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and market insights for product decisions.
- Proficiency with product management tools and platforms to manage a product backlog and track progress.
