Senior Product Manager - Recommendations and Personalization
Job Description
Join Best Buy’s Recommendations and Personalization team to shape personalized customer experiences through product strategy, execution, and measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for recommendations and personalized experiences.
- Define success metrics and use customer and business data to establish priorities.
- Partner with engineering and business teams to deliver ranking, scoring, offers, and cross-channel personalization.
- Write clear product requirements, guide backlog planning, and support releases end to end.
- Lead testing efforts and use results to improve the product roadmap.
- Build reusable personalization capabilities while supporting responsible customer data use and privacy requirements.
- Apply AI-enabled tools and workflows to speed up insight generation, prioritization, and team effectiveness.
Requirements
- 6+ years of product management experience in Agile digital environments.
- 2+ years of experience with recommendations, personalization, search, ranking, or machine-learning decision systems.
- 2+ years of experience leading work across engineering, analytics, design, and data science teams.
- 6+ years of experience setting product strategy, managing roadmaps, and measuring results.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of product management experience.
- Experience with enterprise-scale recommendation or personalization products.
- Experience building shared product capabilities (for example, customer segments or cross-channel decisioning).
- Familiarity with ranking, retrieval, experimentation, model hosting, or performance monitoring.
- Ability to explain technical topics clearly to senior leaders and business partners.
Location
- Remote (remote).
- Primarily work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location.
- Live within a drivable distance to the corporate campus in Richfield, Minnesota.
Compensation
- USD 111,850 - 198,250 per year.
