Job Description

This onsite role in San Jose, CA, seeks an Electrical Engineer with PCB design and embedded experience to guide projects from concept to production at Kinequip, Inc., with opportunities to influence the direction of lighting and control solutions on site.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical systems and components across diverse applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements.
  • Perform testing and validation of electrical systems to verify alignment with specifications.
  • Translate designs into production readiness by coordinating with vendors, managing bills of materials, and preparing documentation.
  • Develop and maintain firmware for lighting and control products.
  • Document design details, processes, and test results for future reference.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with at least two years in an electrical engineering design role.
  • Experience selecting components, performing schematic capture and PCB layout; Altium experience preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team while managing individual responsibilities.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
