The position focuses on process improvement, reducing manual workarounds, and evolving Epicor into a fully utilized operating system across the organization. You will also lead the effort to maintain and scale the ERP platform over time.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Epicor ERP platform end-to-end, covering performance, adoption, and scalability
  • Define and execute the Epicor roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on business impact and ROI
  • Partner with business leaders to align Epicor capabilities with operational needs
  • Identify and eliminate process inefficiencies through system-driven solutions
  • Lead deployments and optimization of core capabilities, including MRP, planning, and shop floor execution
  • Establish and enforce data integrity standards across BOMs, routings, inventory, and costing
  • Drive workflow consolidation into Epicor to reduce reliance on spreadsheets and manual processes
  • Provide direction and validation for system configuration, reporting, and development work
  • Establish governance for system changes, prioritization, and releases
  • Drive user adoption through training alignment, process standardization, and continuous improvement

The Position

The role leads the transition from a partially utilized system to a fully integrated platform supporting sales, planning, production, accounting, and reporting. You will own process alignment, data integrity standards, system capabilities, and user adoption. Working with system and operations resources, you will define what gets done and why, then guide execution across configuration, support, and day-to-day activities. Success depends on business judgment, clear prioritization, and driving measurable results.

Core Requirements

  • Experience owning or leading ERP systems or platforms

Relevant technologies include Epicor ERP, MRP, BAQs, Dashboards, Kinetic Customizations, and Method Directives.

  • Purchasing & Supply Chain (procurement workflows, supplier coordination)
  • Order Management (order entry, fulfillment, customer delivery)
  • Engineering / BOM Management (part structures, methods, engineering changes)

  • Quality (inspection processes, non-conformance tracking, compliance)
  • Reporting & Analytics (BAQs, dashboards, KPI visibility)
  • Understanding how Method Directives, BAQs, Dashboards, and Kinetic Customizations impact business workflows (no development experience required)

Preferred Experience

  • Experience implementing or significantly improving MRP and planning processes
  • Exposure to custom development or integrations within Epicor

What Success Looks Like (12–18 Months)

  • Core workflows are consolidated into Epicor, reducing reliance on manual processes
  • MRP and planning capabilities are fully deployed and actively driving operations
  • Data integrity across BOMs, inventory, and costing is reliable and trusted
