Portal Product Owner - Life and Annuity Business Unit

Accenture is seeking a Portal Product Owner for the Life and Annuity Business Unit in Atlanta, GA (onsite), with a salary range of USD 87,400 to 224,600 per year.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the portal platform backlog, ensuring priorities reflect the product strategy and customer needs.
• Collaborate with Product Management to convert strategic roadmap initiatives into detailed epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with engineering teams in an Agile setting to plan, refine, and deliver features across sprint cycles.
• Define user journeys across key personas including agents, policyholders, customer service representatives, and administrators.
• Work with UX and design teams to ensure alignment with the product's UX/UI guidelines published by product management.
• Engage internal stakeholders, customers, and implementation teams to gather feedback and validate requirements.
• Support integration needs with policy administration systems, CRM platforms, document management, and identity and access management solutions.
• Participate in sprint reviews, backlog grooming, and release planning while ensuring quality and adherence to acceptance criteria.
• Monitor product performance, user feedback, and industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of Life and Annuity industry knowledge and experience.
• At least 3 years working with insurance policy administration systems or digital insurance platforms.
• At least 3 years of experience with accessibility standards, digital security best practices, and modern portal frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of 12 years for a Bachelor's track; if an Associate's Degree is held, a minimum of 6 years of work experience is required.
