Product Design Engineer
Job Description
The Product Design Engineer will support heavy machinery initiatives on site in Moline, Illinois, focusing on Creo based 3D CAD modeling, engineering drawings, and active involvement in product development activities.

Responsibilities
- Generate and modify 3D CAD models and technical drawings using Creo.
- Contribute to design and modeling tasks for engineering projects.
- Conduct feasibility assessments of proposed engineering solutions under supervision.
- Create engineering drawings to communicate designs, support evaluation, and enable implementation.
- Assist with product development, perform engineering analysis, and interpret data.
- Establish and follow engineering testing standards and procedures.
- Collect and organize engineering data in spreadsheets and standardized formats.
- Address routine engineering and technical inquiries in accordance with established procedures.
- Ensure adherence to company engineering standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers to produce accurate models and accompanying documentation.
- Operate engineering tools and systems while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Resolve routine issues and escalate complex engineering concerns as needed.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Creo for 3D modeling and drafting tasks.
- Experience with PDM/Windchill.
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers to develop models and drawings.
- Capability to calculate basic tolerance stack-ups.
- Solid analytical, communication, and problem solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage engineering documentation.
- Understanding of engineering design principles and product development processes.
