Job Description

In this remote role, you will translate the product vision into actionable work for Agile teams, own and refine the team backlog, and guide successful releases in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities

  • Own and continually prioritize the Agile team backlog, aligning user stories, defects, and technical enablers with business priorities.
  • Partner with Product Managers, subject matter experts, Architects, and Engineering teams to turn features into clear, actionable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate Sprint Planning, Program Increment (PI) Planning, backlog refinement, and other Agile ceremonies while clarifying requirements for the development teams throughout delivery.
  • Identify dependencies, assess delivery risks, and work with cross-functional stakeholders to enable successful releases while upholding quality and development processes.
  • Demonstrate completed functionality during sprint reviews, collect stakeholder feedback, monitor delivery metrics, and pursue ongoing improvements to product value and team effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role supporting Agile software development and product delivery.
  • Proven experience translating business requirements into user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs within Agile frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, CI/CD concepts, and tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
  • Strong analytical, planning, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience collaborating with geographically distributed, cross-functional teams and influencing decisions across multiple organizational levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience supporting software products in regulated environments such as healthcare, life sciences, clinical research, or medical devices is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work remotely within the United States with authorization to work in the United States.
