Urban Legend is hiring a detail-oriented Product Owner to connect product strategy to engineering delivery in a hands-on, backlog-focused role.

Own and manage the product backlog, turning initiatives into well-scoped tickets with acceptance criteria, priority, and estimates
Run regular team syncs to keep delivery moving and remove blockers
Triage incoming bugs and requests, evaluate severity and impact, and route items into the correct backlog sequence
Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to translate roadmap priorities and PRDs into a sequenced delivery plan
Serve as the daily point of contact for engineering questions on requirements and edge cases
Write and maintain release notes and coordinate QA plans to support confident releases
Track cycle time and delivery predictability, and raise timeline risks early
Coordinate cross-functionally with Execution, Sales, and Creator Success to capture requirements and keep teams aligned on what is shipping and when
Maintain backlog hygiene including labels, statuses, and dependencies to preserve a clear source of truth
Support discovery and validation as needed (user interviews, bug reproduction, usability checks) to clarify requirements before backlog entry

2–4 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a delivery-focused product role
Sharp, unambiguous ticket-writing skills
Strong organizational instincts to keep the backlog clean, prioritized, and navigable as priorities shift
Solid understanding of how software is built, with the ability to discuss scope, dependencies, and technical tradeoffs with engineers
Experience managing backlog and delivery cadence in Linear, Jira, or similar tools
Comfort triaging ambiguity by converting vague bug reports or stakeholder requests into actionable tickets
Familiarity with QA processes and release coordination
Clear, concise communication across engineers, the Product Manager, and cross-functional stakeholders
Bias toward action
