Product Owner
Job Description
CACI is hiring a Product Owner to drive Agile Scrum planning and execution, partnering with engineering leadership and government stakeholders to shape product scope, priorities, and release delivery.
Responsibilities
- Own the product backlog, including creating, refining, and prioritizing user stories and acceptance criteria to help the engineering team deliver maximum value.
- Serve as the primary liaison between government stakeholders and the Scrum team to define product vision and operational requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Work closely with the Scrum Master and development team to manage scope changes, monitor team velocity, and support increments that meet the Definition of Done and user expectations.
- Support process improvement efforts, contribute to reducing technical debt, and maintain a collaborative environment aligned with broader business objectives.
- Bring strong communication skills through frequent client-facing engagement.
- Assist with cost reduction efforts, knowledge activities, and test-related work product/service activities.
- Help identify issues and provide status updates on scope of work, while maintaining clear understanding of role and team responsibilities and how they support business objectives.
- Maintain a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- US citizenship required due to government contract and/or clearance requirements.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Requirements Manager in an Agile/Scrum software development environment.
- Ability to translate complex government or operational workflows into clear, actionable technical user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills to support customer deliverable dates and mission-critical business needs.
- Familiarity with Agile lifecycle management and backlog tooling, including Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.

Desired Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Perform analysis and projects to improve overall quality of work products and processes.
- SAFe PM/PO, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or equivalent Agile certification.
- Ability to present software demonstrations and interface with senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to maximize team efficiency through effective workload management, scope prioritization, and stakeholder expectation management.
- Familiarity with collaboration and documentation tools such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).

Compensation
- Pay range: USD 86,600 - 181,800 per year.
Clearance and Travel
- Minimum clearance required to start: TS/SCI with Polygraph.
