Product Owner/Product Owner Senior

Join the Pay.gov Product Team at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland as a Product Owner or Senior Product Owner in Cleveland, onsite. In this role you will shape the product roadmap, align cross-functional teams around key priorities, and use data-driven decisions to maximize business impact while scaling product offerings and processes across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership within the product development process, championing the voice of the customer during product definition, UI design, and bug triage.
• Refines the product backlog based on business value and customer needs; translates priorities into actionable features and user stories that communicate the what and the why for technology teams.
• Coordinates product development and collects and analyzes data to evaluate the effect of products in production.
• Gathers, analyzes, and prioritizes inputs from customers, internal stakeholders, and partners, synthesizing them into a clear and justifiable set of product requirements to drive the product vision.
• Collaborates with stakeholders on requirement elicitation.
• Develops working knowledge of the software and technologies that support the products and provides timely status updates to functional leaders.
• Works closely with customers and agencies to identify key needs and suitable product solutions.
• Identifies new business opportunities and develops corresponding business plans.
• Reviews proposed new market opportunities for consideration.
• Makes decisions regarding product features and trade-offs for the team.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested and maintains regular, prompt attendance per bank policies.

Requirements

• U.S. citizen required.
• Education and related work experience options:
  • Associates degree with 5 years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years
  • Master’s degree with 0-1 year
  • Associates degree with 7 years
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years
  • Master’s degree with 3 years
• Experience preparing project plans.
• Directing a payment processing product software solution development.
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Intellectual curiosity and critical thinking.
• Problem-solving aptitude and an entrepreneurial mindset aimed at innovative business solutions.
• Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner.
• Knowledge of Agile product practices and Scrum/Agile software development methodology.

Salary

Product Owner: $90,500–$113,100 annually; Product Owner Senior: $100,300–$125,400. Final offer is determined by background, experience, skills, internal equity, and market data.
