Tax Manager - EY Foundry - Group Product Manager

EY’s Foundry team builds and scales digital products and services for external clients, turning ideas into growth initiatives through close collaboration across product, design, engineering, and strategy. This Product Manager (Manager) role focuses on shaping the strategy and roadmap for client-facing offerings, while leading product discovery, experimentation, and backlog execution.

Based in New York, NY with a hybrid work model, you’ll help define product concepts and drive adoption for real users using research, metrics, and iterative delivery.

Role scope

• Collaborate with strategists, designers, developers, and other stakeholders to concept, design, and develop digital products and services that address a market opportunity.
• Create personas, conduct product research to inform concepts and new features, and define user stories and requirements.
• Manage the product backlog and work day-to-day with engineering teams to clarify requirements and recommend alternative approaches when needed to meet business requirements.
• Run ongoing experimentation and evaluate user feedback, product usage, and key metrics to continuously improve product and user experience.
• Lead market and user research to shape longer-term product strategy and the product roadmap.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 5+ years of solid product management experience.
• Proven track record launching and iterating digital products for external customers.
• Experience creating products and experiences that resonate with users and demonstrate meaningful adoption.
• Experience working with generative AI, and with mobile product development and customer-facing digital products.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly, execute independently with minimal guidance.
• Excellent oral, written, and visual communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to synthesize insights from multiple sources and prioritize accordingly.
• Some technical knowledge from formal education or practical experience.
• Demonstrated continuous learning and exploration of emergent technologies and methods.
• A relentless, problem-solving mindset focused on originating new solutions.
• Strong experience managing developer teams, whether in-house or outsourced.
• Ability to stay agile, resolve business challenges efficiently, and deliver high-quality results without getting bogged down in process.

Compensation and benefits

• Comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
• Base salary range (all geographic locations in the US): $125,900 to $231,100.
• Base salary range (New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California excluding Sacramento): $151,200 to $262,600.
