Product Manager - AI Platform
Job Description
Flexion Robotics is building an AI platform that sits around an AI autonomy stack for deployed humanoid robots. As the Product Manager, you will shape the product layer needed to deploy, operate, and continuously improve intelligent robots in real-world environments, covering capabilities, data infrastructure, and the interfaces that make the system usable.
What you will do
- Own the AI platform product roadmap, focusing on the capabilities, data infrastructure, and interfaces required to deploy and improve intelligent robots in the real world.
- Build a deep understanding of end-customer use cases across industries and identify common needs that can become reusable product capabilities.
- Define and prioritize the robot skills and capabilities Flexion should support based on value and applicability across customer use cases.
- Define the data workflows for training, evaluation, and continuous improvement, including what data is needed, how it should be collected, and how responsibilities are shared across Flexion, partners, and customers.
- Define the interfaces required to operate Flexion-powered robots, including monitoring, observability, diagnostics, runtime controls, and task- or fleet-level views.
- Work with Research and AI Engineering to understand emerging capabilities and determine how they can translate into reusable product capabilities.
- Spend meaningful time with customers and end users, including on-site visits, to understand how robots are used today and where the biggest product opportunities exist.
Requirements
- Product management experience with AI/ML products, robotics, data platforms, developer platforms, or other technically complex B2B products.
- Strong product judgment, including the ability to identify common product needs across diverse customer use cases.
- A strong technical foundation, with an understanding of how models are trained, evaluated, deployed, and improved, and the ability to collaborate effectively with ML researchers and engineers.
- Experience defining user-facing interfaces for complex technical systems, such as monitoring, observability, analytics, workflow, or operational tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate product decisions, write crisp specifications, and align technical and commercial teams.
- Comfort operating in an early-stage, fast-moving environment where the product category itself is still forming.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites across Europe and beyond, up to 10%.
Benefits
- Competitive Compensation
- Joining a leading robotics team and exposure to never-done-before research
- Energetic, collaborative culture with a bias for action and regular community events
- Enhanced pension plan
- Relocation & permit sponsorship
- Enhanced holiday & paid leave perks
- Central Zürich office with top-tier robotics testing facilities and infrastructure
- 401(k) with company contributions
- Health, dental & vision coverage with flexibility to choose your own plan
- Open PTO policy and paid company holidays
Bonus
- Experience in robotics, autonomous systems, or products deployed in physical environments.
- Experience with reinforcement learning, imitation learning, or foundation models for robotics.
