Job Description

This non‑supervisory role centers on steering the Strength product line from ideation to market launch and beyond, with close cross‑functional collaboration and marketing/sales support to deliver value to customers.

Position overview: Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, you will own the product lifecycle for the Strength line, defining the vision, strategy and roadmap, and coordinating with teams across the organization to deliver compelling products. This role emphasizes collaboration, market insight, and timely execution to drive business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Build connections with experienced dealers and industry experts to gather design input
  • Regularly visit fitness facilities and vertical market sites to collect user insights and interview staff and operators
  • Collaborate with service technicians and QA teams to capture in‑field product issues
  • Facilitate and participate in focus groups
  • Attend a minimum of three fitness and related industry trade shows each year
  • Produce and share detailed competitive analyses after trade shows
  • Maintain current competitive analyses for Strength product categories
  • Identify opportunities two to three years out
  • Propose product concepts aligned with strategic goals for R&D exploration
  • Plan and execute new exercise platform initiatives and key technology projects
  • Collaborate with the Senior Product Manager and Director of Product to develop the Strength Vision strategy
  • Coordinate with the product team at HQ in Taiwan to advance advanced projects before an NPD kickoff
  • Support the development of products that grow Strength sales across the business
  • Lead New Product Development and knowledge transfer teams through the development process to ensure on‑time launches
  • Support Value Analysis and Value Engineering initiatives to enhance user experience and profitability
  • Guide designers in selecting optimal industrial design for the product
  • Manage owners manuals, assembly guides, carton artwork, and product graphics
  • Develop comprehensive product briefs and new product proposals
  • Participate in product lifecycle reviews to extract insights for improvements or new initiatives
  • Continuously seek field and stakeholder feedback on designs throughout development
  • Develop the Strength product marketing story including features, benefits and ultimate value
  • Train sales teams and dealers on why Vision products are best in class
  • Collaborate with sales to create customer‑centric solutions
  • Perform other projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or MBA required, in business, marketing, or a field related to exercise
  • Minimum three years of product, sales, or service experience in the fitness industry
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to travel domestically, locally and internationally; total travel about 30%
