Product Owner

Concero Technology Group is seeking a Product Owner to join its Agile development team in Memphis. This onsite role focuses on shaping the backlog, translating needs into actionable user stories, and ensuring delivery quality while aligning with stakeholders. The position offers a clear opportunity to influence product direction within a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

Compensation

USD 100,000 - 120,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Facilitate story creation and refinement with the team, ensuring adherence to the Agile INVEST criteria.
• Collaborate with product management, leadership, and technical teams to assess the firm’s needs and implement high-quality solutions.
• Articulate the project vision and user stories so developers understand the objectives.
• Prioritize ongoing work and the backlog to drive progress.
• Establish Sprint goals and monitor progress toward them.
• Provide updates on development progress to leadership, product management, and stakeholders as requested.
• Remain available within the team to resolve day-to-day decisions and blockers.
• Apply Agile methods to promote disciplined practices with frequent inspection and adaptation.
• Lead regular demos and review sessions to share progress and gather feedback.
• Partner with the Agile Scrum Master, other technology teams, and stakeholders to test and deliver features from the backlog.
• Sign off when a story is complete and ready for release.
• Ensure development work maximizes value and aligns with the firm’s overall strategy.

• Decisive, analytical thinker with solid decision-making abilities.
• Experience managing enterprise-level data products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences across organizational levels.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with adaptability to changing priorities.
• Experience with Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework, Agile, or Scrum processes.
• Ability to understand evolving technologies and map them to current business needs.
• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across executive, management, and individual contributor levels.
