Job Description

The Product Owner role at SEI Investments focuses on executing the product roadmap for the wealth and investment management platform, serving as the subject matter expert for assigned products and enabling collaboration among development teams, product leaders, and the user community. This position is based in Oaks, PA onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements discovery and documentation for one or more designated products.
  • Partner with the Director to prioritize the backlog based on funding and development capacity.
  • Maintain and refine the product backlog using Jira as the SDLC tool.
  • Lead and facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert, delivering domain knowledge to business analysts, developers, and the user community.
  • Prepare and share communications across the development cycle with stakeholders at all levels, covering release plans, feature and story level acceptance criteria, overviews of new or modified functionality, user guides, and release notes.
  • Provide ongoing performance feedback to software engineers.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Business or applicable experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with a strong background in product and development disciplines.
  • Financial services experience, preferably FinTech experience in Asset Management or Wealth Management.
  • Experience with Agile and iterative development methodologies.
  • Experience with software development management and tracking tools such as Jira, Microsoft TFS, Rally.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tooling for product design, strategy, and software testing.
