Product Owner

Capgemini is seeking a Product Owner for an onsite contract role in New York, NY, United States. The position focuses on leading delivery of strategic payment initiatives in the payments domain, operating within an Agile/Scrum delivery framework.

Role Overview

In this Product Owner capacity, you will be accountable for product vision, backlog management, and the translation of business needs into requirements and user stories. You will execute the product roadmap by collaborating with business stakeholders, operations teams, architects, and engineering teams to deliver payment solutions that meet both business and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Define product vision and manage product backlogs through prioritization of requirements
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, operations teams, architects, and engineering teams to deliver payment solutions aligned to business and regulatory requirements
• Lead requirements gathering, support creation of user stories, and participate in sprint planning
• Maintain stakeholder communication and ensure product roadmap execution is aligned with business objectives
• Drive the delivery of strategic payment initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the Payments domain
• Demonstrated Product Ownership / Product Management experience
• Payments domain expertise, including payment processing and integration across:
• Gateway Connectors and payment integration
• ACH Payments
• SWIFT Payments
• Fedwire
• RTP RealTime Payments
• Stakeholder Management
• Agile/Scrum delivery experience
• Deep expertise in payment processing and integration across ACH, SWIFT, Fedwire, and RTP, including payment gateway connectors
