Product Owner

Warrior Insurance Network seeks a Senior Product Owner to support and guide two Agile development teams delivering solutions on the Guidewire InsuranceNow platform. This role is an individual contributor position acting as the customer proxy, with end-to-end ownership of the product backlog and delivery alignment to business goals spanning underwriting, policy, billing, and claims.

Compensation

USD 100,000 - 175,000 per year

Estimated compensation range: $100,000-$175,000/YEAR.

Role Responsibilities

• Serve as an individual contributor and customer proxy to two Agile development teams.
• Align delivery efforts with business goals and drive value across underwriting, policy, billing, and claims.
• Take end-to-end ownership of the InsuranceNow platform and related applications.
• Act as the final authority for decisions on priority, business value, and functionality for work completed by the Agile teams.
• Represent the business as the primary stakeholder for the Guidewire InsuranceNow platform.
• Define and communicate product vision, roadmap, and priorities aligned with enterprise objectives.
• Advocate for platform growth and capabilities through continuous enhancement and stakeholder alignment.
• Own and manage the product backlog for two Agile development teams.
• Prioritize features and user stories using business value, dependencies, and stakeholder input.
• Collaborate on sprint planning, refinement, and demos to support high-quality, valuable increments.
• Define acceptance criteria and validate deliverables meet business needs.
• Engage business leaders, operations teams, and subject matter experts to gather requirements and translate them into actionable development items.
• Ensure feedback loops between users and development teams are strong, timely, and meaningful.
• Support change management and communications efforts to promote platform adoption and usability.
• Monitor metrics, usage patterns, and feedback to inform enhancements and platform strategy.
• Support release planning, testing coordination, and issue triage across functional areas.
• Ensure platform configuration and development work align with compliance, regulatory, and operational standards.

Required Experience and Skills

• 5+ years in a Product Owner role or a business-facing technology leadership role.
• Hands-on experience with core insurance platforms; Guidewire InsuranceNow is strongly preferred.
• Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry experience, particularly in underwriting, policy administration, billing, or claims.
• Deep familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative team environments.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex inputs into a clear set of priorities and features.
