Product Owner - Intraday Liquidity

Wells Fargo is hiring a Product Owner to support technology and data capabilities for Intraday Liquidity Management within the Treasury Transformation Office. This hybrid role in Charlotte, NC offers the opportunity to steward an existing platform and drive enhancements aligned to evolving business needs. You will partner across Treasury, Technology, Data Engineering, Operations, and Risk to ensure delivery is clear, validated, and usable.

What you’ll do

• Own and prioritize the product roadmap, backlog, and delivery strategy for Intraday Liquidity capabilities.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and collaborate with development teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Manage and enhance an existing platform, updating priorities as requirements change.
• Lead requirements gathering, create user stories, define acceptance criteria, and validate solutions.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across Treasury, Technology, Data Engineering, Operations, and Risk teams.
• Perform hands-on data analysis to identify requirements, validate system functionality, investigate issues, and support decision-making.
• Query, manipulate, analyze, and validate large data sets to support product enhancements and business objectives.
• Coordinate delivery activities including milestone tracking, risk and dependency management, and executive reporting.
• Support enhancements to liquidity monitoring, payment activity reporting, controls, balances reporting, and analytics capabilities.
• Drive Agile delivery and partner with engineering teams throughout the SDLC.
• Prepare concise executive communications covering progress, risks, decisions, and business impacts.
• Lead working sessions and influence stakeholders without relying on direct authority.

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience in Finance, Treasury, Banking, Financial Services, Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Data Analytics, Program Management, or related disciplines.
• Recent experience working in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Data Analyst capacity.
• Strong data analysis experience with the ability to query, manipulate, investigate, and validate data independently.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and partner with technology teams during delivery.
• Advanced SQL skills for analysis and validation.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Collaboration experience with software developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for both working teams and senior leadership.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in an evolving environment.
• Preferred: experience within Treasury, Liquidity Management, Payments, Cash Management, or related functions.
• Preferred: knowledge of payment systems including Wire Transfers, ACH, Real-Time Payments (RTP), emerging payment technologies.
• Preferred: familiarity with distributed ledger technology (DLT), tokenization, or fintech solutions.
• Preferred: experience with Intraday Liquidity Management Systems (ILMS) or similar Treasury platforms.
• Preferred: experience with GitHub and GitHub Copilot.
• Python experience for data analysis, automation, and problem-solving.
• Product ownership experience supporting technology and data platforms.
• Program Management or Project Management experience.
• Experience supporting strategic transformation initiatives.

• Schedule: 3 days in office / 2 days remote
