Senior Global Product Manager
Job Description
bioMérieux offers a hybrid role based in West Jordan, UT with a salary range of USD 120,500 - 177,500 per year. You will help shape global product strategy for molecular syndromic panels, translating customer needs and scientific insights into differentiated, customer-centric solutions across laboratory and point-of-care settings.

Responsibilities
- Lead global product strategy for assigned opportunities and/or molecular syndromic panels
- Translate customer needs and market insights into product requirements
- Identify opportunities for portfolio growth and differentiation across laboratory and point-of-care settings
- Serve as business lead for early product development from concept to pre-launch
- Develop customer-centric design inputs aligned with R&D priorities
- Support lifecycle updates, enhancements, and performance improvements
- Contribute to business case development and revenue forecasting with Finance and PMO
- Gather and synthesize customer feedback, market trends, and clinical insights
- Collaborate with Market Research, Medical Affairs, and Clinical Affairs to validate product requirements
- Maintain a strong understanding of the molecular diagnostics landscape and competitive offerings
- Partner with R&D, Medical Affairs, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Downstream Marketing, and regional teams to align strategy
- Provide product expertise to support cross-functional decisions and ensure integration with broader franchise goals
- Lead early phases of go-to-market strategy and support downstream marketing and regional teams for market readiness
- Monitor on-market performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Support quality review requirements and resolution of product-related issues
- Provide product expertise for strategic customers and regional teams, and contribute to training and enablement materials
- Perform work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards, and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor degree required in Marketing, Business, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or a life science/healthcare field
- 7+ years of experience in product development and/or upstream marketing within the diagnostics, life sciences, or medical device industry
- Education substitution: 11 years of related experience (defined above) in lieu of a Bachelor degree
- Effective presentation skills, including the ability to present technical data
- Track record of successful go-to-market planning or contribution to launch readiness in healthcare or diagnostics
- Demonstrated involvement in product development from concept through launch, with collaboration across R&D or cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in MS Office tools including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
Travel and working conditions
- Domestic travel required: 15%
- International travel required: 15%
