Senior Product Owner

Build disciplined product execution in a Scrum-based environment while partnering closely with engineering and cross-functional stakeholders. Restoration of America offers a Senior Product Owner role based onsite in Ponte Vedra, FL 32081, with a salary range of $100,000 to $110,000 per year and a team-focused Agile culture centered on turning business goals into development-ready outcomes.

What you’ll own

• Own and actively manage one or more product backlogs for Scrum teams.
• Write clear, well-structured user stories with explicit acceptance criteria.
• Continuously refine, prioritize, and groom the backlog to ensure sprint readiness.
• Act as the single point of accountability for backlog prioritization and scope decisions.
• Translate business goals and stakeholder needs into work the team can deliver.

How you’ll work day to day

• Collaborate closely with engineers, QA, UX, and Scrum Masters.
• Lead and participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support AI-assisted development workflows while maintaining quality and product clarity.
• Coach and mentor junior Product Owners.

What you bring

• 5 to 8 years of experience as a Product Owner in Scrum teams.
• Experience in a professional software development shop.
• Strong Agile and Scrum knowledge grounded in real delivery.
• Expertise in user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog management.
• Experience working with AI tools and AI-assisted coding environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using Agile tooling such as Jira or an equivalent to manage backlogs and sprints.
• Ability to say “no” or “not now” and explain trade-offs clearly.
• Proven ability to partner effectively with engineers and earn their trust.
• Scrum master experience is a plus.

Helpful background

• Experience with AI agents in development.
• Analytics or experience with data-intensive systems.
• CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent certification.
• Experience inheriting and improving an existing backlog or delivery process.
