Senior Product Owner- Supply Chain
Job Description
Lead product outcomes for supply chain collaboration across Aerospace and Defense, from requirements through adoption.
Responsibilities
- Write, refine, and manage user stories through completion
- Prioritize work across sprints and releases
- Own and manage user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Prioritize support requests and bug fixes
- Demonstrate product capabilities internally and externally
- Collaborate with internal teams to analyze information needs and define functional requirements
- Develop required product artifacts as needed, including:
- Functional requirements
- Use cases
- UI and interface designs
- Software requirements specification (SRS)
- Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to execute the technical vision and evaluate tradeoffs between usability and performance
- Draft product and training documentation, compile release notes, and define technical product specifications
- Bridge business users and engineering teams by translating complex supply chain processes into clear, testable requirements
- Define and track product KPIs, including adoption, integration uptime, data quality, and partner onboarding velocity
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience in product ownership or business analysis
- 5+ years of domain experience in Direct material supply chain
- Proven experience managing zero-to-one initiatives (features or products)
- Skilled in developing and tracking KPIs and metrics for product ownership
- Strong analytical and product skills, able to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Professional interaction with a diverse range of executives, managers, and subject matter experts
- Ability to adapt and manage multiple priorities
- Confident in negotiation, facilitation, and consensus-building
- Accountable, proactive, and able to take initiative
- Strong customer success focus
- Hands-on experience with supply chain workflows such as:
- Procure-to-pay
- Order-to-cash
- ASN and shipping
- Inventory
- Supplier collaboration
- Comfort working at the business-engineering intersection, translating partner and customer requirements into precise specifications

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with supply chain collaboration, execution, and TMS solutions
- Working knowledge of EDI transactions, APIs, and event-driven integration patterns
- Experience onboarding external trading partners such as 3PLs and suppliers
- Experience in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry
- Experience with SaaS or cloud applications
- Proficient in Jira and Confluence
- Experience delivering in agile development

Compensation
- $120,000 - $140,000 per year
