Technical Product Owner (AWS Migration / Credit Risk)

Contract role focusing on technical product ownership for AWS migrations supporting new account processing and credit risk platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive delivery of AWS migration initiatives for new account processing and credit risk systems
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define and refine technical requirements, user stories, and backlog priorities
• Lead and support Scrum teams, ensuring Agile practices and reliable delivery
• Maintain JIRA boards to ensure work is clearly defined, tracked, and aligned with delivery goals
• Translate complex technical initiatives into actionable backlog items for engineers
• Partner with architects and developers on cloud migration strategies, system integrations, and modernization efforts
• Ensure alignment between business objectives such as credit risk and account opening and technical execution
• Drive end-to-end delivery accountability from planning to production release

Requirements

• 5+ years as a Technical Product Owner, Technical Business Analyst, or Delivery Lead
• Proven experience leading AWS migration projects, including lift-and-shift or modernization
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, including AWS services, microservices, and APIs
• Experience in financial services
• Experience with credit risk systems
• Experience with new account opening or onboarding platforms
• Hands-on experience managing JIRA boards, backlogs, and sprint execution
• Strong experience working with Scrum teams and Agile delivery frameworks
• Ability to work closely with engineers and communicate in technical terms
• Experience defining technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
