Technical Product Owner-Full Stack

At Kirby Building Systems LLC, you will help Nucor Buildings Group’s Product Innovation Group turn business opportunities into digital products. This is a role that blends technical product ownership with hands-on full-stack engineering, supported by a modern technology stack and benefits designed for long-term growth.

What you’ll do

• Own and prioritize the product backlog, translating stakeholder needs and opportunities into requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with users and stakeholders to define what should be built, why it matters, and how success is measured.
• Contribute directly to full-stack delivery using Python, React/TypeScript, C#/.NET, APIs, SQL, and Azure.
• Collaborate with the development team to balance product priorities, technical considerations, delivery effort, and iterative releases.
• Use feedback, application insights, and emerging technologies, including AI, to continuously improve product capabilities and user value.
• Initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience in software development, technical product ownership, or a combination.
• Strong experience with Python, React, TypeScript, C#, .NET/ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, and SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL.
• Experience working with stakeholders to understand needs and turn them into priorities, requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with product prioritization, backlog management, demonstrations, and feedback cycles.
• Experience with automated Playwright testing, Git, code reviews, CI/CD, and cloud application development.
• Ability to balance product priorities, technical considerations, and delivery needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Tools you’ll work with

You will build with Python, React, TypeScript, C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, SQL, Azure, and Playwright, alongside Git and CI/CD. The role also includes AI-focused development such as Azure AI Foundry, RAG, LLM APIs, agent frameworks, and MCP, plus Docker, security, and observability.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Owner while staying technically hands-on.
• Experience taking products from concept or POC through production and continuous improvement.
• Experience developing commercial or enterprise applications.
• Experience with Azure, Docker, CI/CD, security, and observability.
• Experience with product analytics and user feedback.
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry, RAG, LLM APIs, agent frameworks, and/or MCP.
