AI SDLC Product Manager

An Onward Search client is hiring an AI SDLC Product Manager for a hybrid contract role in Indianapolis, IN. In this position, you will help shape strategic product initiatives by partnering closely with technical teams and stakeholders, guiding execution from early planning through continuous optimization.

You will own key product planning activities across organizational units, including roadmap management and the definition of vision and release plans. The role also expects fresh, hands-on responsibility for AI SDLC ownership and execution, alongside ongoing research to inform future enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Drive product lifecycle activities from planning to optimization, prioritizing key projects.
• Conduct industry research and analyze trends to recommend future product enhancements.
• Develop and communicate product vision, strategy, and release plans across organizational units.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to define requirements and oversee agile design processes.

Requirements

• 6+ years of proven experience in product strategy development and lifecycle management, including 2+ years specifically in AI SDLC.
• Current and fresh experience owning and executing AI SDLC work.
• Ability to analyze industry trends and competitor activity.
• Strong communication skills to present complex insights effectively.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.

Compensation

• USD 75 - 83 per hour.
