Air and Missile Defense Engagement Operations Team Product Owner

In support of the Army PEO Fires IFMC Project Office, ACQCENTRIC INC is seeking an Air and Missile Defense Engagement Operations Team Product Owner to lead product prioritization and technical validation for engagement team software. This onsite role in Huntsville, AL focuses on working closely with an EO software development effort, aligning sprint and increment priorities to mission needs, and providing leadership with clear technical guidance.

What You’ll Do

• Own prioritization and validation of development software for the Engagement team.
• Review and interpret Systems Engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms, then provide direction to the development team.
• Coordinate with program management to set priorities for capabilities and defects for each product increment and sprint.
• Deliver technical briefings to leadership covering software status, recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance considerations, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of Engagement Operations (EO), including engagement planning and scheduling, threat evaluation, target selection, battlespace prediction, and sensor resource management.
• Ability to oversee an EO software development team and verify outputs using agreed acceptance criteria, including participation in code reviews.
• Ability to collaborate directly with Agile software developers.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office toolset.
• US citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college with ABET preferred, in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics.
• Minimum 10 years combined Government/DoD experience performing the essential duties listed above.

Additional Qualifications

• Plus: knowledge of IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS, and familiarity with current EO implementations in one or more DoD services.
• Plus: prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team.

Security Clearance

Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance or higher.
