Job Description

This onsite leadership role directs the end-to-end lifecycle of Erie Home’s roofing products and systems, from concept through launch, to strengthen revenue and margin.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle of roofing products, from introduction through retirement.
  • Use data to guide product enhancements, modifications, and discontinuations.
  • Drive new product launches, including marketing strategy development, sales training materials, and go-to-market support plans.
  • Perform market research to uncover trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies.
  • Apply analytics to inform product decisions and market positioning.
  • Partner cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, legal, and customer support to align product strategy to business goals and customer needs.
  • Enable effective communication and collaboration across teams.
  • Oversee product quality and compliance by ensuring roofing products meet industry standards and applicable building codes.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and operations leadership to manage vendor and supplier relationships.
  • Develop and manage budgets as needed to keep strategies cost-effective while maintaining effectiveness.
  • Collect feedback from customers and stakeholders to identify product improvement and innovation opportunities.
  • Use customer insights to guide ongoing enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in product management and training.
  • Roofing industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of roofing materials, construction methods, and market trends.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills, including proficiency in market analysis tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing vendors and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in project management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Up to 25% travel

Additional Hours / Overtime

  • Additional hours may be required (exempt positions).

Physical Requirements

  • Normal office environment; indoor work in a climate-controlled space.
  • Sedentary work; sitting most of the time.
  • May require exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
