Global Product Manager
Job Description
Drive global product strategy and commercialization for CuOperate, enabling Near Package Optics (NPO) and Near Package Copper (NPC) connectivity architectures for AI infrastructure and networking.
- Product strategy & execution: Develop and execute product strategy, roadmap, and business plan for the CuOperate product family
- New product development: Lead new product development from concept through commercialization
- Market requirements: Define market requirements and prioritize development opportunities based on customer and industry needs
- Customer and ecosystem partnerships: Build relationships with hyperscalers, OEMs, ODMs, silicon providers, optical module companies, and strategic partners
- Adoption and validation: Drive customer adoption, design wins, proof-of-concept activities, and platform engagements
- Positioning and go-to-market: Shape product positioning, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies
- Standards and consortium involvement: Represent Molex in relevant industry standards organizations, consortiums, and ecosystem development activities
- Business cases: Develop business cases to support investment decisions for product development, capacity, and growth initiatives
- Cross-functional leadership: Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, sales, marketing, and operations to ensure successful execution
- Competitive and trend monitoring: Monitor market trends, emerging architectures, and competitive activity to guide future product strategy
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Datacom, AI infrastructure, networking, optics, semiconductor, or high-speed interconnect market
- Product and business roles: Experience in Product Management, New Product Development, Business Development, Product Engineering, Technical Marketing, or Sales
- Leadership style: Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing without direct authority
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally

Compensation
- Base pay: $140,000 - $160,000 per year (anticipated)
- Variable pay: Eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form
- Range note: Compensation ranges are estimates based on available market data; actual pay may be higher or lower based on candidate knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location

What will put you ahead
- Experience working with hyperscale cloud providers, AI infrastructure companies, networking OEMs, optics suppliers, or silicon providers
- Experience commercializing new technologies or leading products from concept through launch
- Knowledge of NPO, NPC, CPO, optical interconnects, high-speed connectors, cable assemblies, or AI system architectures
- Location: Fremont, CA (onsite)
- Travel requirements: Up to 30% domestically and internationally
