Job Description

This onsite IT Product Owner role partners with business stakeholders to own and deliver one or more critical products from concept through execution.

Responsibilities

  • Own product definition activities in partnership with business stakeholders and internal teams
  • Apply industry and domain expertise to surface differentiating product features
  • Define and contribute to the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) based on business objectives and strategic goals
  • Maintain the product vision and roadmap across the full product lifecycle
  • Represent customer and business needs in day-to-day product decisions
  • Create, manage, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog
  • Develop and maintain product requirements, including user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Work with engineering teams to clarify requirements and address technical trade-offs
  • Prioritize features using business value, customer impact, and organizational goals
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, engineers, designers, and other Product Owners to define and deliver solutions
  • Facilitate alignment on medium to complex business challenges with stakeholders
  • Communicate planned functionality, product enhancements, and delivery progress effectively
  • Stay current on industry, market, and operational trends
  • Identify product enhancement opportunities and process improvements
  • Collect feedback from users and stakeholders, including competitive market analysis, to inform product decisions
  • Drive continuous improvement across product management, testing, and delivery processes
  • Manage multiple concurrent initiatives while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards
  • Adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field (equivalent experience considered)
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Product Definition, or related discipline
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical and business teams
  • Experience with backlog management tools such as Jira or similar platforms

Position Overview

  • Drive product strategy, requirements, design, and innovation for solutions supporting business stakeholders across Royal Caribbean Group

  • Requires strong leadership collaboration, organizational, and communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced matrix environment

  • Onsite in Miramar, FL
