Job Description

This onsite IT Product Owner role partners with business stakeholders to own and deliver one or more critical products from concept through execution.

Responsibilities

Own product definition activities in partnership with business stakeholders and internal teams
Apply industry and domain expertise to surface differentiating product features
Define and contribute to the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) based on business objectives and strategic goals
Maintain the product vision and roadmap across the full product lifecycle
Represent customer and business needs in day-to-day product decisions
Create, manage, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog
Develop and maintain product requirements, including user stories and acceptance criteria
Work with engineering teams to clarify requirements and address technical trade-offs
Prioritize features using business value, customer impact, and organizational goals
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, engineers, designers, and other Product Owners to define and deliver solutions
Facilitate alignment on medium to complex business challenges with stakeholders
Communicate planned functionality, product enhancements, and delivery progress effectively
Stay current on industry, market, and operational trends
Identify product enhancement opportunities and process improvements
Collect feedback from users and stakeholders, including competitive market analysis, to inform product decisions
Drive continuous improvement across product management, testing, and delivery processes
Manage multiple concurrent initiatives while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards
Adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field (equivalent experience considered)
5+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Product Definition, or related discipline
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical and business teams
Experience with backlog management tools such as Jira or similar platforms

Job Description

Director of Product Operations for AI and ML leads ML operations and AI initiatives at Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits, overseeing deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization across Miramar and Dallas.

Responsibilities

Oversee the design, adoption, and continuous improvement of ML operations practices and tooling to accelerate development, deployment, and monitoring of models.
Regularly track model performance metrics and identify opportunities for further optimization.
Partner with data science to establish automated hyperparameter tuning pipelines using standard industry tools.
Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing data platform operations team, fostering innovation and collaboration.
Develop and sustain cross-functional partnerships with data engineering, data science, IT, and business stakeholders.
Keep abreast of trends in data management, ML operations, and cloud computing, driving adoption of industry best practices.
May telework, but reside near the Miramar or Dallas office.
Travel up to 10% domestically.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, electronic engineering, or related field (or foreign equivalent), plus 7 years of experience in a related or similar role.
At least 7 years of experience in ML platform operations, including 4+ years in a leadership role.
Knowledge of ML operations tools and frameworks, cloud platforms, security and compliance, risk management, CI/CD, strategic thinking and innovation, stakeholder management, and change management.
