Accenture seeks a Portal Product Owner for the Life and Annuity digital portal platform in Hartford, CT (onsite), with a yearly salary range of USD 87,400 - 224,600.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the portal platform backlog, aligning priorities with product strategy and user needs.
- Partner with Product Management to convert roadmap initiatives into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with engineering in an Agile environment to plan, refine, and deliver features across sprint cycles.
- Define and document user journeys for agents, policyholders, customer service representatives, and administrators.
- Coordinate with UX and design to ensure adherence to the product management defined UX/UI guidelines.
- Engage internal stakeholders, customers, and implementation teams to gather feedback and validate requirements.
- Assist with integration requirements involving policy administration systems, CRM platforms, document management, and identity/access management solutions.
- Contribute to sprint reviews, backlog grooming, and release planning while maintaining quality and alignment with acceptance criteria.
- Monitor product performance, user feedback, and industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- At least five years of Life and Annuity industry experience or knowledge.
- Three or more years working with policy administration systems or digital insurance platforms.
- Three or more years of experience with accessibility standards, digital security best practices, and modern portal frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 12 years of work experience; if using an Associate's degree, at least 6 years of work experience.
