Job Description

EchoStar is seeking an IT Product Owner to help support core front-end applications, with primary focus on the Dish TV and Sling TV lines of business. This onsite role in Englewood, CO centers on turning business direction into clear product execution, aligning roadmaps with objectives, and partnering closely with development teams to deliver high-value work.

In this position, you will operate within an Agile delivery environment, maintaining technical product backlogs and translating non-technical needs into actionable technical requirements. You will also provide project and release management support when key business objectives require it.

What you will do

  • Join a team of IT Product Owners supporting core front-end applications primarily for Dish TV and Sling TV
  • Collaborate with IT, Operations, and Product to develop a product vision and roadmap aligned to business objectives
  • Prioritize and maintain technical product backlogs to keep teams focused on the highest value work
  • Lead agile ceremonies in close partnership with development teams
  • Translate non-technical requirements into clear, actionable technical requirements
  • Extend into project and release management when required to support key business objectives

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or equivalent role in an IT or technology-driven organization
  • Proven experience working in Scrum environments; Agile/SAFe certification or equivalent strongly preferred
  • Experience using management and delivery tools such as Jira and ServiceNow, along with AI-literacy within the stated enterprise tools
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and enterprise IT architecture

  • Salary: USD 83,160 - 118,800 per year
